About SHRI Lab

Welcome to the Smart Healthcare & Robotics Interfacing Lab (SHRI Lab) under the direction of Dr. Jyotindra Narayan in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at IIT Patna. The Smart Healthcare thrust focuses on the development of intelligent technologies for human health, rehabilitation, and clinical assistance, while the Robotics Interfacing thrust focuses on advanced robotic systems, human–robot interaction, and physical human–machine integration. These two areas converge at a common goal—to design safe, adaptive, and human-centered robotic solutions for healthcare. Our research integrates advanced control systems, biomechanics, and machine learning to bridge healthcare needs with next-generation robotic technologies.
